Andrew Kim, N.D., L.Ac. was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. He received his bachelor's degree at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. Dr. Kim taught English in Asia and has traveled around the world. While overseas, he decided to pursue a career in the healing arts. This decision led him to the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, where he received a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a masters in Classical Chinese Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Kim completed a one year residency in Family Medicine with Dr. Dickson Thom.

Purpose 

Dr. Kim believes that every individual has the ability to attain optimal wellness. The goal is to find areas of imbalance and to restore the body's natural rhythm. By uncovering the obstacles to health and supporting the whole person (physical, mental, and emotional) we can expect to see lasting results. Dr. Kim will guide his patients on their path to wellness and help them to realize their full potential for good health.

Practice

Dr. Kim is a general family practitioner and is available for consultation on any acute or chronic condition. He will integrate Naturopathic and Classical Chinese Medicine, utilizing modern and traditional diagnosis and treatment. His goal is to stimulate the body's natural healing process while treating the underlying cause of illness and not just the symptoms. Essential to this process is nutritional and lifestyle counseling. He will also use a variety of therapeutic tools which include botanical medicine, homeopathy, Chinese herbal formulas, Qi gong, food sensitivity testing, nutritional supplements, acupuncture, and/or physical medicine.
